Installation
1. Remove the dash trim and instrument shroud by removing the screws highlighted below. Retain these
original fasteners for reassembly.
Note: Disassembly for ’97-2001 Jeep Cherokee dashes will differ
from below.
2. Remove the factory instrument cluster by removing the four screws highlighted below, these screws will
not be reused, and can be set aside.
3. Attach the provided
36” Main Harness
to the back of the HDX system. The optional
Buzzer
may also
be attached for audio feedback. Carefully run the other ends of these harnesses to the control box and
buzzer mounting locations.

Note: The clip-in trim strip with vent along the top of the dash will also need to be removed.
