Touch Screen Recalibration
Each 7171DA has its touch screen inspected and calibrated by a Quality Control technician
before leaving D3’s facility. However, over time, operators may find that the unit’s touch
screen becomes slightly inaccurate and using the human machine interface becomes more
difficult. If this occurs, the computer’s touch screen software may simply need to be
recalibrated. This process is easy and straightforward. Follow the steps below:
1)
In order to find the calibration application, press the On Screen Display (OSD)
button.
2)
On the menu window, using a stylus, select
Calibrate
and follow the on screen
prompts.
3)
Once finished, test the accuracy again by sliding a finger across the screen and
seeing how the cursor follows. Test a few points to make sure the cursor moves to
desired location.
If this does not resolve the inaccuracies, there may be a hardware issue which needs to be
resolved. In this case, contact D3 customer support at:
(717) 932-9999.
