4.1 Overview: About the box
This chapter describes what you have to do after the box with the outdoor unit is
delivered on-site.
Keep the following in mind:
▪ At delivery, the unit MUST be checked for damage. Any damage MUST be
reported immediately to the claims agent of the carrier.
▪ Bring the packed unit as close as possible to its final installation position to
prevent damage during transport.
▪ Prepare the path along which you want to bring the unit inside in advance.
4.2 Outdoor unit
4.2.1 To handle the outdoor unit
CAUTION
To avoid injury, do NOT touch the air inlet or aluminium fins of the unit.
Forklift or pallet truck
While the unit is still on its pallet, handle the unit using a forklift or pallet truck.
Manually
After unpacking, carry the unit using the slings delivered as accessory.
