1 Overview

1.1 Introduction

TAS 100 is a PoE splitter to supply power for devices of IEEE802.3af standard. It can supply 12 VDC,
1.15 A power for network terminal devices that are under 14 W, with the transmission broadband of
10/100 Mbps, and is used together with power supplies, including PoE switches, PoE injectors and
PoE converters that meet IEEE802.3af standard. The splitter separates power from data signals. In
this way, it supplies power and feeds it to a separate input that a non-PoE compliant device can
access.

1.2 Application Scenarios

  Intelligent traffic surveillance system.

Expressway surveillance system, electronic road surveillance system, and electronic snapshot

system.

Large mine factories surveillance system, and network multifunction system.

Remote multimedia teaching system/school surveillance system, and video conference system.

Building intercom and video surveillance system.

1.3 Features

  Supports IEEE802.3af Ethernet power standard.

  Supports 10/100 Mbps data transmission.

12 VDC, 1.15 A power output, applicable for all kinds small network devices.

Circuit isolation protection for wired devices.

High quality design, effectively protects the steady and reliable operation of the devices.

  Supports uses in all-metal environment.

Built-in transformer and snubber circuit for lower heat and more stable voltage.
