This function allows you to binding two physical network adapters to one virtual adapter to
provide load balance or redundancy function to enhance bandwidth. In this mode, when one
adapter is malfunction, the other one can still work and has no effect on the system operation.
Please select two network adapters first and then input IP address, subnet mask and default
gateway. Click OK button you can complete the binding setup.

Round mode System sends out data packets by a sequence. This mode adds
bandwidth and support load balance and fault tolerance function. It
can switch the flow to the proper link once there is any problem.
Active-
backup
One port is at active status (main port) and one port is at backup
mode. All flows are transmitted on the main link. The backup port
begins to transmit data once the main active port is malfunction.
LACP mode It is to create an a
ggregation group
. They share the same speed
and duplex setup. It allows several slaves to work on one active
object according to 802.3ad specifications.
Self-
adaptive
mode
It has adapter transmission balance function. It has the receive
load balance function for IPV4 and there is no need to have a
switch.

It is to use jumbo frame to transmit data to enhance efficiency.

Before you use this function, please makes sure you switch
supports this function.

3.3.2 Virtual Network (For dual-controller series product only)
The virtual network is for NAS dual controller series product. The virtual IP can switch between
the two controllers and the setup is generally the same as the network setup. See Figure 3-17.
