forward  packet  for  the  VLAN.  Generally,  because  the  VLAN  can  isolate  the  broadcasting 

domain, every VLAN corresponds to a network segment. VLAN interface is the gateway of the 

network segment, and it supports layer 3 forwarding for the message based on IP address.
