The pads reach temperatures of between 70º y 80º C at its maxi-
mum setting. This is for guidelines purposes only. The readings take
place in laboratory conditions, according to procedure described in
standard UNE-EN 60335-2-17.
THERMOAPPLICATIONS
Almohadilla nuca-cervical – NC y
Almohadilla nuca-cervical-dorsal – NCD
Nape-cervical pad – NC and Cervical dorsal nape pad - NCD
Fatigue caused by daily activity, reflected in the body as contractu-
res, cervical pain, etc. Different physical stress, all accumulate in
the most sensitive areas, particularly the nape, upper vertebrae and
lumbar area, leading to malaise, where pain may become persistent
in more severe cases.
DAGA offers an effective system with its NC, NCD pads to effecti-
vely combat pain localised in the nape, cervical and upper back,
the areas that are most often subject to this type of aches and
muscle tension.
The NC model is placed around your neck and fastened with the Velcro
fastener on the cloth cover, that should sit around
the chin. (Fig.1)
The NCD model is fitted using the two fastening systems that are located
on the cloth cover: one with a velcro fastener on the top to sit around
the neck and the other strap located inside to tie to the belt. (Fig.2)
Total back pad– ET
The total back pad is indicated for use in the back, shoulders and
chest areas.
The back is the area of the body with very little sensitivity to heat,
because of which the high temperature application time must be
controlled. The high temperature regulator setting should only be
used for the time necessary to reach a comfortable temperature,
reducing it afterwards to a lower setting.
To facilitate their adaptation to the shoulders-back area, the pad
cover has two velcro fastenings at the top for the shoulders and
another fastening clasp at the bottom for the waist. The final aspect
of the positioned pad is the backpack that covers it completely in
the back-shoulder-kidney area.
We recommend the following process for fitting it:
1) Place the pad with its cover on a flat surface with the upper
fastening straps extended and the waist fastener open, so that the
two velcro strips are facing downwards in the shoulder area and the
fastening strips upwards (see figure 3).
2) Secure top to the Velcro straps strips around the shoulders,
forming two broad hoops (see figure 4).
3) Place the pad on the back as if it was a waistcoat (see figure 5).
4) Adjust the upper two strips until it fits your body so that the
upper part covers your shoulders.
5) Place the belt using the clasp fastener composed of two inner
strips and fit it around your waist (see figure 6).
We recommend fitting it to your body using the three fastening ele-
ments included and covering it by putting on an item of clothing in
order to take advantage of the heat of the pad. (See fig. 3 to Fig. 6)
