Cleaning and Maintenance

Always unplug the Kettle from the mains supply and allow to cool before
cleaning.

Do not immerse the kettle or the base in water or any other liquids.

Wipe the kettle clean with a clean damp cloth.

Do not use harsh or abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners.

Do not clean any part of the kettle in a dishwasher.

Allow the kettle to boil, switch off and then stand to allow the kettle
to soak for approximately 15

20 minutes, (if necessary, adjust the

standing time to the descaling products instructions).

Finally, empty the kettle and refill with fresh clean water and allow

to come to the boil and switch off once more, then again pour the

water away. Your kettle is now descaled and cleaned.

The

Filter

 (2) is located inside the kettle

behind the

Spout

 (1) and is accessible

from inside the kettle when the

Lid

(3)

is open.

Open the

Lid

 (3). Press the catch

(arrowed) down on the

Filter

 (2) and

then lift the filter out as shown left.

Replace the

Filter

 (2) by pushing it back

inside the kettle behind the

 Spout

 (1),

ensuring the catch is clicked back into

place and close the

Lid

 (3).
