Defrost

There are 2 defrost settings, dEF1 and dEF2. 

•  dEF1 - defrost foods by weights

•  dEF2 - defrost foods by time

1.  Press the

 

Defrost

 button to select dEF1 or dEF2.

2.  Turn the 

Time Weight 

button

 

to select the weight of the foods or the 

time. The weight range for dEF1 is 100g to 1500g, and the time range 

is 0:10 seconds to 60:00 minutes.

3.  After selecting the weight for time for defrosting, press the 

START+30s

 button to start defrosting.  

4. 

After cooking has finished 3 beeps will be heard and the display will 

show 

End

.

Note: 

If you have chosen the option dEF1 defrosting by weight, during 

cooking the oven will beep to prompt you to turn the food over.

Defrosting tips

Microwaves penetrate approximately 4cm into most foods, to maximise 

defrosting effects, the following is advised:

•  For thick and chunky foods, turn the food regularly during operation in 

order to obtain uniform thawing.

•  If food is over 2.0kg it is advised to turn it a minimum of two times.

•  Do not refreeze food once defrosted.

•  The following table provides a guide to defrost times for various foods:

Note:

 the above table is for guidance only, ensure food is thoroughly    

defrosted before cooking.
