Using the Whisk Attachment
Use the whisk only for whipping cream, beating eggs
whites and mixing cake sponges.
1.
Attach the
Whisk Head
(7) to the
Motor Unit
(3) until
it ‘clicks’ into place as shown right and plug into the
mains socket.
2.
Add the ingredients to a mixing bowl.
3.
Before pressing either the
Low Speed button
(1) or
the
Turbo Speed button
(2) to blend the ingredients,
place the Whisk into the mixture first.
For Best Whisking Results:
•
Do not use the beaker, use a wide bowl.
•
Start with the low speed setting and progress to the turbo speed.
•
Move the whisk by holding it a slight angle.
•
Whisk up to a maximum of 400ml of cream at one time.
•
Whisk up to a maximum quantity of 4 eggs at one time.
Care and Use of Your Hand Blender Set
WARNING!
The blades are very sharp, extreme caution should be taken
whilst cleaning.
•
Always turn the power off and remove the plug from the socket outlet before
carrying out any cleaning.
•
Do not immerse the
Motor Unit
(3) in water or any other liquids.
•
Remove any accessories from the
Motor Unit
(3) and clean the motor unit with
a clean damp cloth, do not immerse in water.
•
Wash the accessories only in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly afterwards.
•
Do not use harsh or abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners.
•
Do not place in a dishwasher.
•
Store in a dry cool place away from direct heat or sunlight.
Non-Wireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-wireable plug fitted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one (conforming
to BS 1362 of the same rating). If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician who
will be pleased to do this for you. If you need to remove the plug

DISCONNECT
FROM THE MAINS
–
and then cut it off the mains lead and immediately dispose
of it safely. Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as
there is a danger of electric shock.
