Using the Sandwich Cooking Plate
Place the bread onto the hotplate and add filling, then place second slice of bread
over the filling. Lower the Upper Housing (1) and latch it closed using the Latch (4)
whilst the sandwich cooks.
After 4-5 minutes the sandwich should have cooked, though it is recommended to
check the sandwich during cooking.
NB:
It is recommended that the bread be buttered on the outside to prevent it
sticking to the plates.
Using the Grill Cooking Plate
Add a Teaspoon of oil to the surface of the non-stick Grill Plate and place the Food
to be grilled onto the grill plate. Lower the Upper Housing (1) and latch it closed
using the Latch (4) whilst the food is being grilled.
After 4-5 minutes the food should be grilled, though it is recommended to check
the food during the grilling process.

NB
during cooking, the green ready to cook light will cycle on and off to show
that the temperature is being maintained at the correct cooking temperature.
This is quite normal.
Removing the Cooking Plates
To remove the cooking plates from the snack maker after use, first allow the
unit to
cool completely
. Press the Plate Release Buttons (6) and the plates can
be lifted free.
Cleaning your Snack maker
•
Always unplug the snack maker from the mains power supply before cleaning.
•
Allow the unit to cool before cleaning.
•
Do not clean any part of your snack maker in a dishwasher.
•
Do not submerge any part of the main body or mains cable in water or any other
liquids.
•
Wipe excess oil/grease from the plates, with kitchen roll or similar.
•
Wipe clean the outside of the main body and the plates with a soft damp cloth.
•
Never clean any part of the snack maker with harsh or abrasive cleaners.

This appliance is fitted with a fused three-pin plug to BS 1363. If the plug has
to be removed, it should be cut off and carefully disposed of immediately. To
avoid a possible shock hazard, do not insert the discarded plug into a mains
