Setting the Temperature 

1.

 

Refer to the ironing instructions on the garment to be ironed. 

2.

 

If the garment doesn’t have any ironing instructions but you know the type of 

fabric used in the garment, follow the chart below. 

3.

 

Fabrics with special finishes should be ironed at the lowest temperature 
setting. 

4.

 

With mixed fibres always select the lowest applicable temperature.  

5.

 

Group items with similar fibres together, as the iron heats up faster than it 
cools, start ironing clothes requiring the lowest temperature first. 

6.

 

Set the 

Temperature Dial

Using your Steam Iron 

1.

 

Fill the Iron as described in the 

Setting up Your Steam Iron

 

section. 

2.

 

Place the Iron in the upright position on a stable surface, 

then plug the Iron into the mains supply. 

3.

 

Set the 

Steam Adjustment Button 

(3) to ‘0’ position as 

shown right in Fig(a). 

4.

 

Set the

 Temperature Dial

 (10) as described in the 

Setting 

the Temperature

 section. 

5.

 

The 

Indicator Light

 (9) will then stay Red indicated that the 

Iron is heating up. 

6.

 

Once the 

Indicator Light

 (9) turns off indicated that the iron 

has reached the temperature and is ready to iron. 

 

During any breaks whilst ironing, always ensure that the iron is placed in the 
upright position on a stable surface.
