2.
INSTALLATION
2.1
Loca tio n
When selecting a posi ti on for your unit, please make sure the fl oor is fl at and fi rm. The room
should be well ven ti lated with an ambient room temperature between 61°F and 100°F. Avoid
loca ting your unit near a heat source, e. g . cooker, boiler or radiator. Also avoid direct sunli g ht as it
may increase the electrical consump ti on. Extreme cold temperatures may cause the unit not to
perform properly. This unit is not desi g ned for use in g ara g e or outdoor installa tion. Do not drape
the unit with any coverin g .
Please keep a clearance of 8 inches on both sides, 6 inches in the rear and 8 inches above the unit.
This allows for proper air circula
ti on around the refri g erator and improves the unit’s coolin g
e ffi ciency. The door can be opened to the r ig ht or the le ft, depending on what be tt er suits the
loca ti on. Please ensure there is adequate space for the door to fully open.
2.2
Reversing the Door Swing
Tools Required: Phillips style screwdriver / Flat blade screwdriver / Hexa g onal spanner
We recommend that 2 people handle the unit for door reversal.
Be sure the unit is unplu
gg ed and empty.
Tilt the unit backwards and rest the unit on somethin g solid so that it will not slip. Do not lay
the unit fl at on its back as this may dama g e the coolant system.
Adjust the two levelin g feet to their hi gh est posi ti on.
All parts removed must be saved for reinstalla tion of the door.
1) Remove the plas ti c coveri ng from the top door hin g e.
2) Unscrew the three screws from the bo tto m bracket.
3) Remove the foot from opposite side.
4) Place to one side.
