Changing the belt

NOTE: Before starting any maintenance on the belt, ensure the   

vacuum is switched off and disconnected from the mains supply.

Lay the vacuum on the floor face 

down so the base can be accessed.

Remove the four retaining screws 

circled right (1) and remove the 

brush guard (2)

Unhook the belt by sliding it off and 

away from the motor spindle as 

shown left.
