2. GENERAL SAFETY RULES
WARNING:
Read all warnings and instructions.
Failure to follow the warnings and instructions can cause electric shock, fire and / or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
a) The charger must not be used for non-rechargeable, ordinary batteries.
b) Adequate ventilation is required.
c) The information on current and voltage on the battery pack must comply with those of the char-
ger.
d) Do not expose the charger to water splashes and rain.
e) Disconnect the equipment from the power supply before inserting or removing the batteries.
f) Do not throw exhausted or damaged batteries into water or fire. Environmental guidelines must be
followed.
g) A defective or not chargeable battery must be treated as special waste / hazardous waste. Put it
in a special collection point. Do not throw it in the normal household waste neither into water or fire.
h) Place the charger far from any heat source.
i) To reduce the risk of electric shock, pull the plug instead of the power cord out from the socket, if
you want to disconnect the charger from the mains.
j) Do not disassemble the charger. Bring it to an authorized repair service, if service or repair is
required. Improper installation can result in electrical shock, death and fire.
k) This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
l) Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
m) Do not leave the equipment unattended while it is operating, to avoid the risk of fire, burns and
electric shocks.
n) If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer service or
a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.

5. CHARGING OF LI-BATTERY-PACK
Check whether the rated voltage complies with the one given on the rating label!
Connect the charger plug to the power supply. The red LED is on. Then insert the battery (2) into the
charger (1).
Please refer to the following table for the meaning of LED display.
If the battery cannot be charged any more, please check:
•whether the supply voltage is available at the socket
•whether there is a perfect contact between the charger and battery.
If the battery still cannot be charged, please send the charger to our customer service
To ensure a long battery life, you should charge the battery timely. This is necessary in any case,
whenever you find that the power of the equipment is low.
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug before any cleaning work. The equipment must not be stored in a wet environment or in
areas with corrosive gases, but in a dry place which is out of the reach of children.
6.1 CLEANING
Keep the surface of the equipment clean and wipe it clean with a dry cloth.
6.2 MAINTENANCE
Inside the equipment, there is no more part to be maintained. The equipment must not be disas-
sembled. If the unit is damaged, contact the supplier or manufacturer.
7. DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING
The equipment is supplied in packaging to prevent damage in transport. This packaging is made of
raw materials and is reusable or can be recycled in the raw material cycle.
The equipment and its accessories are made of different materials, such as metal and plastics.
Bring the defective components to special waste disposal site. Ask your dealer or your local govern-
ment!
The charger has a keyhole for hanging comfortable place for saving storage.
Put the charger on the floor or another flat surface when you use it

recycled in an environmentally friendly way.
Recycling alternative to request of return:
The owner of electric power tools is obliged to return (the waste) instead as participation in the
proper recycling in case of the abandonment of ownership. The waste equipment can therefore be
given to the collection point, which will carry out the disposal within the meaning of the national
recycling industry law and waste act. The accessories and additives without any electronic compo-
nents, which attached to the waste equipment, are not concerned.
