Note:

Do not allow the blender to work with thick mixtures or

heavy foods which will not let the motor run freely. If the motor

does not run freely, stop the blender and add liquid or reduce the

contents of the jar.

When blending ice,

1.

Take the ice from the freezer and allow it to rest on the work

top for five minutes.

2.  Fill the jug about a third way with ice cubes. Leave plenty of

free space in the blender so the ice cubes can move around.

Add a little water or fruit juice to speed up the process, this

also helps to prevent any damage to the motor.

3.  Place the lid on the jug and ‘Pulse’ the blender five to seven

times in quick, two-second bursts. If the ice sticks to sides

remove the jug and shake it for 15 to 30 seconds.

4.  Once you are satisfied the motor will not struggle, set

the blender to a medium setting (2 or 3) until the desired

consistency is reached.

CAUTION:

•  DO NOT PROCESS HOT LIQUIDS OR INGREDIENTS.

ALLOW TO COOL BEFORE PLACING THEM IN THE

GLASS JUG.

•  Do not operate when the blender is empty.

•  Do not operate without liquid.

•  Do not blend and crush dry fruit.

•

Do not fill the glass jug above the max level on the jug.

Some mixtures increase in volume during blending and

create pressure in the jug.
