Installation Instructions
This appliance was designed for domestic use only.
Where to install?
Solid and level loor
• Uneven looring can cause excessive noise and
vibration from the appliance.
• If the appliance is not level, the height of the doors
can appear uneven.
Cool and Dry place
• Avoid direct sunlight.
• Avoid location by a sink or where moisture and water
gather as this can cause rust and corrosion.
• Avoid location where moisture can cause electrical
problems.
• Do not install next to radiator or cooker or other heat
sources as this will weaken the refrigeration power.
Ventilation
The space required for installing the appliance is
shown below.
• At least 10cm from 3 sides(left, right, and the wall) is
suficient ventilation.
• Insuficient space causes excessive noise and
vibration, weakening of refrigerating power and the
waste of electricity.
Grounding / Earthing
This appliance MUST BE PLUGGED in EARTHED
SOCKET. The power supply cable plug is provided
with a contact for this purpose.
Grounding terminal is the green one connected to the
power cord in the back of refrigerator.
Please ensure of the grounding. Consult a qualiied
electrician or service person if the grounding
instructions are not completely understood, or if you
have any doubts on whether the appliance is properly
grounded or not.
The incorrect grounding may cause breakdown and
electric shock.
You need to ensure to use grounded exclusive correct
voltage for Power cord input/output. If not, it may cause
the ire.
Grounding is necessary at if appliance is installed in
the place where water splashes easily;
humid basement;
any wet or watery place.
Grounding is not necessary
in case of using side-grounded outlet.
Don’t connect the earth wire to
water pipe, gas pipe, telephone line or lightening-rod due
to the possibility of explosion or ire.
Installation of height adjustment feet for leveling
Level refrigerator to rest solidly on the loor.
There are two leveling feets under each front corner
of refrigerator. Turn leveling feet clockwise to
raise the refrigerator and turn it counter-clockwise
to lower. Use cardboard support under the rear
corners if necessary.
• If you want the door of refrigerator to be closed
smoothly and not to be open easily, adjust the front
feets so the refrigerator sits slightly higher at the front.
GENERAL INSTALLATION
• Leave the appliance to stand for 2-4hours before
switching on to allow the gases to settle.
•
Wait 2-3 hours until the inside gets cold enough after
the irst power plug-in, then store foods inside(There
can be some smell on initial operation of the refrigerator
after plugging in. The smell fades away as the
refrigerator works and doors are opened and closed.
• The appliance can be noisy for irst 7-10 days whilst
setting.
• The door seals may seem very tight for the irst few
days. This is normal and does not indicate a fault.
