When Replace Water

If water in the nutrient tank gets turbid, moss will grow and it won’t help for environment of plants.
Thus, replace water 1~2 times a month.

Observation on Plants Growing

   1. Once a week, you should take out the pot and see if roots are growing normally.
Also, check if the holes of waterways are blocked due to overgrown roots.
If so, you must remove some of them.

If roots are overgrown, they may clog up the drainage holes of the waterways that leads to overflowing,

which can make floor or furniture damaged due to water.

2. As plants grow, they tend to consume water quickly.

When warning alert of the shortage of water is ringing, turn off the pump.
After 10 minutes, fill water up to 10

ℓ

(refer to page 5 how to fill water in the nutrient tank).

   3. During high-temperature periods, in particular, unless water is replaced once or twice a month, it may
lead to moss growing in the nutrient tank make and water gets turbid.

How to Harvest Plants

Cut leaves which are grown enough, which makes the inner leaves grow fast.
It is advisable to use scissors to cut leaves on the outside.
Do not cut stems of an aged crop before replacing with new seedlings.

When to Replace Seedlings

All seedlings planted in the pots have their own life spans and cannot be cultivated permanently.
After being transplanted to the hydroponics, leafy vegetables age over time (2 months in winter, 1.5 months
in spring and autumn, and 1 month in summer). Therefore, they have to be replaced by new seedlings.
(Growth period may differ depending on the type of species.)
