the replacement cycle of shoe may
differ depending on the wear
condition of the rim drum.

BRAKE LEVER ADJUSTMENT
CAUTION
●
After adjusting the brake, make
sure that “
” part of the adjuster
contacts the pin as in the drawing
below. Brake clearance can change
when driving if this is not done.
●
It is not necessary to adjust the
front brake.
●
If the brake lever free play is
significantly decreased, check the
front/rear brake pads and the lining.
Brake lever free play is adjusted by
rotating the adjuster of the brake arm.
After adjustment, check the brake lever to
ensure that the clearance is not above or
under the prescribed amount.
BRAKE LEVER FREE PLAY : 10~20mm
After adjusting the brakes, check the wear
of the brake shoe. While tightly squeezing
the rear brake lever, if the “

” mark of
the brake arm is alined with the “
△
” mark
of the brake panel, this indicates that the
brake shoe is worn. Please take the vehicle
to a service center for repair.
