1. Park the machine on a flat surface,
lower the implement and shut off
engine.
2. Depress the brake pedals and apply
the parking brake.
3. Set all shift levers into the neutral
position.
4. Stop the engine.

Do not permit dirt or trash to get
into the fuel system.
Be careful not to let the fuel tank
become empty, otherwise air
will enter the fuel system, ne-
cessitating bleeding before next
engine start.
Be careful not to spill during
refueling. If should spill, wipe it
off at once, or it may cause a
fire.
To prevent condensation (water)
accumulation in the fuel tank,
fill the tank before parking
overnight.
If it is not used for a long time,
make sure the fuel viscosity is
suitable for the cold weather.

5. Pull out the oil dipstick, clean it, and
then insert it into its original position.
Then, pull it out again and check if
the fuel level is within the specified
range.
6. If the oil level is too low, add some
new oil so that the level is within the
allowable range. (Refer to “Lubrica-
tion” in the chapter “Service”.)
