Connettori per le porte di comunicazione
I processori DAD possono essere interamente
controllati, uno alla volta, via PC tramite il softwa-
re Network Controller.
La connessione sarà normalmente fatta attra-
verso il connettore della porta seriale (RS232).
Questa porta è anche utilizzata per l’upgrade del
firmware.
Nota: le porte di comunicazione sono attive an-
che in modalità SECURE.
Expansion Port and Serial Comms Port
DAD controllers may be controlled - one by one -
entirely from another device, typically a Personal
Computer, running an application that is compli-
ant with the ObCom standard: the Network Con-
troller. Connection will normally be made to the
controller via this serial port connector (RS232).
This port is also used for updating
the firmware in the unit. Note that the commu-
nications port is NOT disabled when the front
panel is made secure using the Secure button.
