Installation Preparation
1. Prepare the mounting surface and reinforce it if neces-
sary according to the

specifications on the facing page.
2. Make a cutout in the center of the mounting location
according to

on the facing page.

3. On roofs with a pitch of 2:12 or less, construct a roof
curb according to the specifications below. Attach it to
the mounting surface and seal it around the base.
NOTE:
Range hood installations with a very short
duct run are not recommended due to noise. When a
range hood installation can accommodate a short duct
run, Dacor instead recommends installation of a range
hood with an integral blower instead of using a REMP
series blower.
