Trim Kit Installation Instructions
STEP 1:
Disconnect power to the range at the junction or fuse
box.
Trim Ring Replacement
STEP 2:
Remove the knobs. Pull straight out to
remove them. Put them in a safe place to
prevent damage.
IMPORTANT
: To prevent the parts behind the control
panel from being misaligned, remove only one trim ring
at a time.
STEP 3:
Remove the three (3) Phillips head screws
that hold the existing trim ring in place. Note
the position of the blue LED light located
behind the trim ring.
STEP 4:
While making sure the LED remains in
place, put the new trim ring into position.
Tighten it in place with the three (3) Phillips
head screws.
STEP 5:
Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the remaining trim rings.
STEP 6:
After all the trim rings are replaced, check to make
sure they are all properly aligned, that the LEDs
are in the proper place, and that the screws are
tightened.
STEP 7:
Attach the knobs. Align the “D-shaped” opening on
the back of the knob with the end of the valve shaft.
Carefully push the knob on until it stops.
For Models ER36D and ER48D, put the knobs with
the words “
MAX GRIDDLE
” on them on the inner
(center burner) valve shafts.
For ER30D, place the “
MAX GRIDDLE
” knobs in
the 2 right hand valve shafts. Put the remaining
knobs on the remaining valve shafts.

CAUTION:
To prevent damage to the griddle included with the range or
the optional grill, do not install the griddle knobs in the wrong position!
