STEP 1
Make sure power to the circuit that supplies power to the hood is turned off.
STEP 2
Install the chimney mounting bracket and the blower assembly according to the
installation instructions included with the hood.
STEP 3
Wire the hood according to the hood installation instructions.
STEP 4
Measure the distance between the base
of the exhaust outlet on the blower as-
sembly and the ceiling, where the chim-
ney mounting bracket is installed.
STEP 5
Determine the required duct length by
subtracting 3 7/8 inches from the dis-
tance measured in step 4.
STEP 6
Using tin snips, cut the 8-inch round duct
to the length determined in step 5.
