FOLDING INSTRUCTIONS

Please follow the steps as outlined below when folding the scr

een material

for packing:

1.

Make sur

e the sur

face does not come in contact with a painted,

var

nished, plastic, or dyed sur

face or object. Pr

olonged contact with

any one of these materials could cause a chemical r

eaction and

compr

omise the scr

een’

s physical or optical quality

. This can be

accomplished by laying a white clean cotton fabric or paper (slightly

lar

ger than the scr

een size) on a flat sur

face prior to folding the

scr

een.

2.

W

ith the dull side up on Da-T

ex, Dual V

ision, and Da-Mat and the

pearlescent side up on Pearlescent and Cinema V

ision fold the

fabric in half fr

om top to bottom. (A 7.5' x 10' scr

een is now

3.75' x 10'.)

Make sur

e that the scr

een never comes in contact with the

black binding, gr

ommets or snap buttons. Please note that for this to

happen, one must make sur

e all folds subsequent to the first fold stop shor

t

of black binding material as illustrated below

3.

Place clean tissue paper or white 100% cotton material between

the folds.

4.

If the folded ar

ea is mor

e than 3 feet wide (which is the case in the

above example), then continue to fold until the folded ar

ea is equal

to or smaller than 3 feet wide.

Please r

emember that all folds

subsequent to the first fold must stop shor

t of the black binding material to

keep the viewing ar

ea away fr

om it and the snap buttons as illustrated

above.

STORAGE AND CLEANING

STORAGE

1.

The scr

een sur

face must be stor

ed in its pouch when not in use to

pr

event damage and discoloration.

2.

While in storage, avoid extr

eme temperatur

e conditions. If sur

face

becomes sticky

, see cleaning instr

uctions below

.

3.

If stor

ed at temperatur

es far below r

oom temperatur

e, allow the

scr

een to war

m up to r

oom temperatur

e befor

e unfolding. This will

ensur

e the film is being handled in its most flexible state and will

pr

event sur

face cracks.

CLEANING

Da-T

ex, Dual V

ision,

and

Da-Mat

sur

faces can be cleaned as follows:

Using a white clean cloth (100% cotton pr

efer

red) that is dampened

with clear water

, gently wipe the ar

ea in one dir

ection. Do not use a

cir

cular motion. Using a dr

y 100% cotton cloth, wipe dr

y after each

cleaning session. T

o clean a stubbor

n stain or a sticky sur

face, use

denatur

ed alcohol (methanol or methyl alcohol) following the same

pr

ocedur

e as for water

. For extr

emely stubbor

n stains, use V M &

P

,

Naphtha or Super Naphtha and follow the same pr

ocedur

e as for water

.

5.

Once the top to bottom folding is completed, fold fr

om left to right

and continue folding until the folded ar

ea is small enough to fit into

the vinyl pouch.

Please note that the final fold must stop shor

t of the

black binding material to keep the viewing ar

ea away fr

om it and the snap

buttons as illustrated.
