Purpose

Used to configure OSPF host route settings.

Syntax

config ospf host_route <ipaddr> {area <area_id> | metric
<value>}

Description

This command is used to configure an OSPF host route settings.

Parameters

<ipaddr>

−

The IP address of the host.

<area_id>

−

A 32-bit number in the form of an IP address

(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) that uniquely identifies the OSPF area in the
OSPF domain.

<value>

−

A metric between 1 and 65535 that will be advertised for

the route.

Restrictions Only

administrator-level users can issue this command.

Usage Example

To configure an OSPF host route:

DGS-3324SRi:4#config ospf host_route 10.48.74.122 area 10.1.1.1 metric 2
