System Configuration
Server Name
Options:
A fifteen-character string of letters and numbers.
Default Value:
IS-xxxxxx (where “xxxxxx” is the last six
digits of the device’s MAC address).
Description:
The server name is used to identify the inter-
net server on network management lists of active devices.
Local LAN -> IP Address
The Local LAN IP Address variable defines the unique IP address
that your network will use to identify the internet server.
Options:
Any IP address from within the local-only ranges
(10.0.0.0.– 10.255.255.255 ; 172.16.0.0 – 172.31.255.255 ;
192.168.0.0 – 192.168.255.255).
Default Value:
192.168.100.1
Must Be User Modified?
No.
Description:
The IP address assigned to the internet server
must be consistent with the addresses to be used by other de-
vices on the network. That is, if the internet server address is
192.168.100.1, all other addresses assigned to local network
devices must start with 192.168.100 and have a final number
between 2 and 255.
