EASY SETUP: ROUTER MODE
CONNECT TO yOUR MODEM
use the included ethernet cable to connect the dIR-604 to the lan
port on your modem. connect the power adapter to the dIR-604.
CONNECT TO THE DIR-604
use a pc with an enabled wireless adapter to open a web
browser and scan for available wireless networks. connect to
the network with
dlink
as the ssId. the wireless key is located
on the bottom of the dIR-604.
CONFIGURE THE DIR-604
open a web browser and go to
http://192.168.0.1
. enter
admin
as the user name and leave the password blank. now you can
use the setup Wizard to configure your dIR-604.
SWITCH TO ROUTER MODE
move the mode switch to the RouteR position. In this mode, the
dIR-604 will function as a router.
