Using the Console Interface

explained in Chapter 5’s Switch  Management, see  STA
Operation Levels: On the Bridge level, and User-Changeable
Parameters. It is recommended that you read these sections,
as  well as  the  introductory  section  in  the same  chapter
entitled  Spanning Tree Algorithm before changing any of
the parameters.

To change the Protocol Parameters:

Choose Configure Spanning Tree Protocol from the
System Configuration menu. The following Spanning
