MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
Step 3:
Stick the included double-sided foam tape on the back of the sensor,
below the tamper key. Next, stick the sensor in your desired location.
The tape's thickness prevents the tamper key from being pressed
down.
This keeps the sensor in Test mode, allowing you to verify that the
location you have chosen is suitable. In Test mode, the LED will turn
on whenever the event is triggered, allowing you to verify that it is
functioning correctly.
Step 1:
If you haven't already done so, add the mydlink Home Door/Window
Sensor to your network.
Step 2:
Choose a suitable location and ensure that the sensor is not facing a
source of sunlight (such as a window) nor a source of heat (such as
a heater or air conditioning unit).
Step 4:
2QFH\RXDUHVDWLV¿HGZLWKWKHORFDWLRQUHPRYHWKHGRXEOHVLGHG
foam tape and apply the included thinner double-sided tape to the
back of the sensor, below the tamper key. Next, stick the sensor in
your desired location.
The tamper key will be pressed down, and the sensor will enter
Normal mode.
