4. Code Examples
This chapter explains the code examples provided along with the PSoC 4100S Plus Prototyping Kit.
To access these code examples, download and install the CY8CKIT-149 PSoC 4100S Plus
Prototyping Kit setup file from the kit web page:
www.cypress.com/CY8CKIT-149 . After installation,
you can access the code example from the PSoC Creator Start Page as shown in Figure 4-1 .
4.1 Using the Kit Code Examples
Follow these steps to open and use the code examples.
1. Launch PSoC Creator from the Windows Start menu (
Start > All Programs > Cypress >
PSoC Creator <version> > PSoC Creator <version> ).
2. On the Start page, select Start > Kits > CY8CKIT-149 . A list of code example appears as shown
in Figure 4-1 .
3. Click the desired code example and save it at a desired location. For the remaining steps,
CExxxx.cywrk is used as a reference.

4. Build the code example by choosing Build > Build <Project Name> as shown in Figure 4-2 . A
.hex file is generated after a successful build process.
