Connecting the SPEED-BOX

System configuration
The SPEED-BOX is connected to a host computer and is controlled by the host computer. The host
computer controls the SPEED-BOX using Emulator debugging software. See the “SOFTUNE
Workbench Operation Manual” for details on operating the software. Figure 2-1 shows the system
configuration of the SPEED-BOX.

(1)Debug interface cable (2m)
The optional debug interface cable (5m) or other cables can also be used.
(2)Mini USB cable
Commercially available mini USB cables can also be used.
When using a commercial product, use a cable that has been certified for USB 2.0.
