7. To view output messages with a terminal emulation program (such as Tera Term), follow these
steps:
a. Start the terminal emulation program.
b. Go to
Setup
>
Terminal
, set the Terminal ID to
VT100
and New-Line Receive to
AUTO
. Other
settings should be left at the default settings.
c. Go to
Setup
>
Serial port
, initiate a connection with the Serial port number from the Device
Manager on the PC.
