The touch button is also used to manually arm and disarm the alarm
system without your phone. This comes handy in the case you do not
have your smartphone with you, or if it ran out of battery. To use this
feature, you first need to define a tapcode in the alarm tab of the app.
Tapcodes are 5 taps long. A short tap is represented by a dot (one LED)
and a long tap by a line (two LEDs) . When tapping to deactivate
SmartHalo, each tap is separated by a space.
When connected to SmartHalo
When connected to SmartHalo, you can manually turn on/off the
front light with two short taps . SmartHalo will visually confirm the
state change in the front light with a short yellow blip in the center
(turn ON) or two short yellow blip in the center (turn OFF) .
A short tap will turn on the center DEL in white, while a long tap will
light the entire Halo in white.
