Connecting Audio Inputs to a Radio Head Unit
If you have a factory head unit or standard radio to use with the Boom
Cans you simply need to connect the black (ground) and purple
(positive) wires from the Boom Cans to your factory speaker wires.
Start by locating the factory speaker wires for +/- and attach a red
locking t-tap connector to each wire (2 positive / 2 negative). If you
are unsure how to find these wires consult the factory service manual
for your model. You can tap into these directly at the speakers. See
illustration below.

The speaker terminals should be
/-, but on Harleys the small
connector is always the positive lead.
You may need to remove the speaker
connector to see the +/- indicators on
some speakers.
