(2) Actual capacity may vary substantially depending on
water analysis and operating conditions. Softening
capacities for systems containing 0.5 and 0.75 cubic
feet are based on SOFTENING PERFORMANCE,
systems containing 1.0 cubic feet and larger are based
on Radium 226/228, Barium and Softening.
(3) For satisfactory performance indicated flow rates and
duration should not be exceeded. Flow rates specified
are adequate for normal residential applications. Do
not use Service Flow Rate when sizing commercial
applications or if treated water is to supply a geothermal
heat pump, swimming pool, etc. (contact dealer before
selecting equipment).
