General Description
The structure of the butterfly shutter on the Butterfly Panel Fan improves fan stability and eliminates small
blades that are prone to dust and build-up that reduce air flow. The butterfly shutter also provides protec-
tion against harsh weather conditions such as wind and moisture while the fan is not in use.
During operation, air from the fan forces the shutter doors to open. A magnetic shutter panel ring is used
to stop the shutters from moving when the fan is off.
The Butterfly Panel Fan is belt driven and has a spring loaded belt tensioner to ensure proper belt
tension.
