Inventory setup
The general inventory feature can be used in any area where goods of any sort need to be sorted into cat-
egories or lots, and then counted and entered in the EDGE history. Every day at midnight, daily inventory
data is reset to zero, while the count in the total columns increase with each new addition unless you
press on the reset table button.
Inventory total setup
In the Setup menu
, with the Room setup radio button selected, press on General inventory, and then
press on
. Enter the following parameters:
Name
Enter the name of the inventory you want to track
Type
Select the type of inventory from the drop down list (total or element)
Unit
Select the unit type from the drop down list
Display # of
bundles
When you select this, the items are displayed in lots of the Bundle size you enter
Bundle size
Number of items in the bundle
Inventory element setup
Name
Enter the name of the inventory you want to track
Type
Select the type of inventory from the drop down list (total or element)
Units
Select the unit type from the drop down list
Function
Choose between the different functions: Add to, or Subtract from, or None
Assigned total
Select the total to which the function applies
Display # of
bundles
When you select this, the items are displayed in lots of the Bundle size you enter
Bundle size
Number of items in the bundle
Assigning counters to inventory categories
You can set the counter parameters to add or subtract from a total.
When using counters, each counter needs to be assigned to a defined category (or total). Any number of
counters can be assigned to a category. The individual counter total for the day is added to its category. A
counter can be assigned to more than one category or total.
