Cleaning & Maintenance
Before first use and after every use, clean each part thoroughly.
n
Unplug your appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning.
n
Place ceramic pot, cooking rack and lid in the dishwasher or wash with warm soapy water.
n
If food sticks to the side of the ceramic pot, fill with warm soapy water and allow to soak before cleaning.
n
If scouring is necessary, use a non abrasive cleanser or liquid detergent with a nylon pad or brush.
n
Never immerse the stainless steel housing plug or lead in water or other liquid, or place in a dishwasher.
n
To clean simply wipe the exterior with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly before storing. Apply any
cleaning agents to the cloth before cleaning, not to the housing.
n
Make sure all parts are clean and dry before storing. Store appliance in a clean, dry place.
n
Periodically check all parts before reassembly. If any part is damaged or the ceramic pot is chipped or cracked,
DO NOT USE APPLIANCE. Contact the Cuisinart helpline (see UK After Sales Service).
