Disconnect the reverse switch.

Remove the two screws that hold the right control
pedal bracket to the frame using a 1/2” wrench.

Lift the control pedal shaft assembly out of the
mower.

Slide the left control bracket and bushing off of the
pedal shaft.

20.

Remove the bowtie clip that holds the right control
bracket to the pedal shaft. See Figure 4.47.

Slide the right bracket and hex bushing off of the
pedal shaft.

22.

Slide the drive pedal shaft off of the brake pedal
shaft. See Figure 4.48.
