Base Station Installation
Before mounting base stations permanently, you should determine loca-
tions that provide the best coverage. Base station placement guidelines
are provided in Determining Base Station Placement on page 2-9.

Step Procedure
1 Rotate base station antennas to expose mounting tabs as
illustrated in Figure 3-4.

2 Drill four holes in a fixed wall or ceiling. To properly position
the holes, you can measure the tabs on the base station or
mark the surface through the tab eyelets while holding the
base station in place.
Note Do not mount base stations on movable surfaces such
as acoustic drop ceilings.
3 Insert anchors into the drilled holes. Then insert #8 screws in
the anchors, leaving a gap between the wall and screw head.
4 Mount the base station eyelets on the screws.
