Multiple Systems Configured as a Single System
Figure 2-3 illustrates two CTPhone Controllers connected to the same 32
analog lines. The purpose of this configuration is to create a system with
greater coverage area.
In this configuration, CTPhone handsets must be programmed with both
system IDs. (For information on system IDs, see Table 4-D on page 4-10.)
Users can place and receive calls in any cell, although handoff does not
operate between base stations connected to different CTPhone Control-
lers.
Coverage: 31,000 square meters (333,560 square feet) per base station
Maximum Number of Configured Users: 32
