5.3 Connecting the External Antenna
Connect the end of the antenna cable supplied to the
antenna socket on the television set.
5.4 Connecting Earphones
Connect the earphone plug to the earphone socket on
the television set.
Note:
When the earphones are inserted the sound can only
be heard through the earphones. No sound comes
out of the loudspeakers of the television set.
5.5 Connecting the AV Input
Connect the external video cable to the yellow socket
on the AV adapter cable and the audio cable to the
red or white audio socket. Then insert the AV plug into
the AV/IN socket on the television set.
Note:
The external video/audio cable is not supplied.
5.6 Connecting the AV Output
Connect the external video cable to the yellow video
socket on the AV adapter. Then connect the external
left-hand audio cable to the white audio socket and
the external right-hand audio cable to the red audio
socket on the AV adapter.

5.7 Connecting the VGA Input
Connect the VGA cable to the VGA socket of your
PC and tighten the screws in order to ensure a good
connection. Then connect the other end of the cable
to the VGA socket of the television set and tighten
these screws too.
Basic Operation of the Television Set
1. Connect the set to the power supply and turn the
mains switch on the left-hand side of the set to ON.
2. Press
the
ON/OFF
button on the set.
3. Pull out the telescopic antenna
4. Select the desired channel with the channel selection
buttons

5. Adjust the volume of the television signal with the
VOL +
/
VOL -
buttons.
Note
Switching between ON/OFF/VGA/AV/TV: Briefl y press
this button to switch between VGA/AV/TV or switch
the set on. Keep the button pressed down for approxi-
mately 3 seconds to turn the television set off.
