The Vecto III can be configured to:
•
Derive the Neutral current by the summation of the 3 line currents in star
connected (4-wire) circuits.
•
Derive any one of the missing line currents by the summation of the other 2
currents in Delta connected (3-wire) circuits.

GPS
A GPS antenna can be connected to the device. The GPS provides accurate time and
location information to the device. See Section 2.4.8 for details.

WiFi
A WiFi antenna can be connected to the device. See Section 2.4.12 for details.

Modem
A modem antenna can be connected to the device. See Section 2.4.13 for details.

Maintenance
The Vecto III is designed to be a very low maintenance that can operate unattended
for years. It contains no user-replaceable parts. If the device needs service, it should
be returned to CT LAB (PTY) LTD.
5.1
Battery
The internal LiFePO4 battery powers the device in the absence of power. This battery
guarantees 2,000 charge/discharge cycles. If cycled once per day, it translates to a 5-
year life expectancy. The battery is charged when external power is applied to the AC
power supply, or the device is connected to an IEEE 802.3-2008 compliant POE source
via either of its Ethernet ports.

Transport
Should the device be couriered or shipped please follow these instructions:
1.
Insert the device into a plastic bag to prevent water damage during
shipment transit; and
