Attention! Magnets
The mounting plate contains a strong neodym magnet. Mag-
nets can affect cardiac pacemakers and implanted defibrillators.
• The pacemaker could be switched into testmode and cause
discomfort
• A defibrillator could stop working
• Keep enough distance to magnets if you use such devices
• Advice other users of such device against getting too close
to magnets
• Keep magnets away from all devices and objects, which can
be damaged by strong magnetic fields
Recommended safety distance is 6 inch (15 cm).
Magnets cause a far-reaching magnetic field. They could dama-
ge TV sets, laptops, PC harddrives, creditcards, ATM cards, data
storage, mechanical watches, hearing aids and speakers.
