Recommendations on the power tool op-
eration
Before starting operation switch on your
tool for testing, if the grinding attach-
ments are well fixed and to make sure,
that there is no radial grinding attachment
run - out. If the radial run - out is detected, switch your
power tool off and replace the faulty attachment.
•
Switch your power tool on, wait for the spindle to
reach maximum speed and only then start getting the
grinding surface close to the blank treated
•
Best grinding results are achieved, when the power
tool is moved smoothly, while being slightly pressed on
•
Avoid applying excessive pressure on your power
tool, as it will not produce better results, but will over-
load the motor and lead to a quicker grinding attach-
ment wear-out
•
Never use the grinding attachments, which are worn
out in a non - uniform way
•
Grinding attachment defects (deviation in cylindrical
form, non - uniform wear - out, etc) may be corrected
with honing stick
Caution: never attempt to correct
radial grinding attachment run-out with honing stick.
