Cleaning the divert
e
r cartridge
l
The divert
e
r cartridge should give trouble
-
free service
however
servicing is a straightforward process.
To remove the divert
e
r cartridge
:
l
With
the
water supply
turned off
, carefully remove the cover cap.
l
Using a hexagonal key loosen the
set
screw but do not remove.
l
Remove the handle and gasket.
l
Undo the retaining nut and pull the divert
e
r cartridge out with the
sleeve and brass sleeve attached.
l
Wash the divert
e
r cartridge with clean running water, dry and
lightly grease the seal, (only use silicone grease).
l
Replace the divert
e
r cartridge followed by the retaining nut, gasket
and handle.
Thermo
static
cartridge
l
The thermo
static
cartridge should give trouble
-
free service,
however
servicing is a straightforward process.
To remove the thermo
static
cartridge
:
l
With
the
water supply
turned off
, carefully remove the cover cap.
l
Using a hexagonal key loosen the
set
screw but do not remove.
l
Remove the handle and gasket.
l
Remove the
temperature limit ring
, (take note of the orientation).
l
Undo the retaining nut and pull the thermo cartridge out with the
brass sleeve attached.
l
Wash the thermo cartridge with clean running water and make
sure that any trapped debris has been removed.
l
Dry and lightly grease the seals, (only use silicone grease), and
replace the thermo cartridge.
l
To re-assemble, reverse the sequence above taking care to replace
the
temperature limit ring
in the same orientation before removal.

before removal.
