Unwind the A/C POWER CORD (6) at the back
of the unit and connect it to a power outlet.

Plug A/C cord into appropriate outlet.

This product is equipped with a polarized
alternating current line plug (a plug having one
blade wider than the other). This plug will fit into
the power outlet only one way. This is a safety
feature, If you are unable to insert the plug fully
into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug
should still fail to fit, contact you electrician to
replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the
purpose of the polarized plug.

  Untie the FM ANTENNA (7) and allow it to hang

in a straight line.

Power Source

Radio Operation

Turn the unit ON by turning the ON-OFF

      SWITCH/VOLUME CONTROL (5) clockwise to
      the ON position.

Select the desired waveband by turning the BAND

     selector (6) to either the AM or FM position.

Turn the TUNING KNOB (3) to select the desired

     station on the Tuner Dial (2).

Adjust the volume to the desired listening level by
turning the ON-OFF SWITCH/VOLUME 
CONTROL(5).

Turn the unit off by turning the ON-OFF

     SWITCH/VOLUME CONTROL (5) counterclockwise
     to the off position.

The unit is provided with a wire antenna for FM

reception. Move the wire until the reception is

clear. Do not connect the FM antenna to any

external antenna. Am reception would be improved

by relocating the unit.
