2.  Upon delivery, and if necessary, unloading and final 

assembly, perform a thorough “pre-flight” inspection  

of the sprayer, checking ….

 

Trailer / chassis / boom structure is undamaged and paint  

in good order
Wheels & hubs greased, split pin and dust caps in place,  

wheel nuts tight - (note if these items have a white mark, it  

denotes checking at the factory)
Check tyre pressures
Check mudguards
Check all tanks are undamaged, tank lids open and seal shut 

correctly. Basket strainer in place
Check for any loose fittings
Check camlock tethers
Identify & check all grease points
Check all filters are clean
Check all decals are in place

3. Connect to the Owner’s tractor

Confirm the tractor is suitable
Connect hitch & install safety chains or connect via linkage pickup’s 

(version dependant).
Connect Pump Hydraulics – make sure the return is “to tank”
Connect boom hydraulics
Connect WEEDit controller(s), must connect to the tractor’s battery.

Connect spray rate controller
Connect fence line controller

4.  Power up the Air systems (turn on the WEEDit controller). 

Note it is essential that the air system is engaged before  

the pump hydraulics

Check the air compressor is operating and comes up to pressure  

/no leaks etc
Check and adjust axle airbag heights and PAV pressure regulator

5.  Open the boom to spray position

Confirm boom hydraulics
Check and adjust boom docking
Check and adjust for correct WEEDit sensor heights.
Check hoses do not kink or jam whilst unfolding / folding

6. Fill all tanks with sufficient fresh water to enable checking

Confirm the fill and drain functions for all tanks.
Check & clean the fill filter

7. Check the operation of all spray functions

Hopper(s)
Probe, inc rinse
Agitators
Main tank rinse(s)
WEEDit spray operation – use a fresh green plant to check sensor 

function
Blanket line operation (if fitted), including prime / recirc / flush
Fence-line nozzle function
Check and resolve nozzle blockages or leaks

8. Other checks (as applicable)

Ag Runner transfer system
Check & calibrate controller operation
Perform speed calibration (menu 207)
Check & clean all pressure filters
Check for hydraulic or spray system leaks
Drain tanks

DELIVERY CHECKLIST & CUSTOMER INDUCTION

This check list must be completed & signed by both the Owner and the Dealer, and the white copy returned by the Dealer to Croplands.
Prior to delivery to the dealer, this sprayer has undergone extensive checks and testing at the factory.
