Preventing damage to the item!

• Avoid water, oil, potholes and very rough

surfaces.

Assembly

The item is supplied folded up in transport condi-
tion. Proceed as follows to get it ready for riding:

Unfolding (Fig. A)

1. Pull the safety lever (1) upwards and hold it.
2. Pull the lever (2) upwards, then release the

safety lever (1) and fold the steering col-
umn (3) forwards until it locks into place.

Mounting the grips (Fig. B)

1. Remove the grips (4) from the brackets (5).
2. Lift the cover flap (6).
3. Press the locking knobs (7) down on the grips

and push the grips on both sides into the

knobs must snap audibly into place into the
holes (9) provided.

4. Press the cover flap (6) down over the locking

knobs.

Adjusting the height of the steering

column (Fig. C)

The steering column can be adjusted to four
different heights. The item may only be used if
the locking knob is locked in place into one of
the four holes provided and the steering column
is then secured with the quick release fastener!
1. Loosen the quick release (10) on the steering

column.

2. Pull the steering column (3) upwards, until the

locking knob (11) locks into place in one of
the four holes (12).

3. Secure the steering column by locking the

quick release (10).

Note:

If the quick release does not fit snugly on

the steering column when tightening, tighten the
knurled screw firmly with the enclosed Allen key.
Make sure that the quick release fastener is
secured before tightening.

Steering head bearing (Fig. F)

The steering head bearing (18) is pre-set
when the item is supplied. If, after a while, the
handlebars have too much play or become too
stiff, get the steering head bearing adjusted by a
specialist dealer or at a bicycle shop.

Putting the item into transport

condition

1. Loosen the quick release (10) on the steering

column and press the locking knob (11)
(Fig. C).

2. Push the steering column (3) all the way down

and lock the quick release (10) (Fig. C).

3. Lift the cover flap (6) (Fig. B).
4. Press the locking knobs (7) of the grips and

pull the grips (4) out of the T-tube (8) (Fig. B).

5. Attach the grips to the brackets (5) (Fig. B).
6. Pull the safety lever (1) upwards and hold it.

Pull the lever (2) upwards, then release the
safety lever (1) (Fig. D).

7.  Press the steering column towards the deck

until it locks into place (Fig. D).

Use

Riding, braking, parking (Fig. E)

• Put one leg on the deck (13) and give momen-

tum by regularly pushing off with the other leg.

• Step on the brake plate (14) to brake.
• Swing out the stand (15) to park. The item may

only be parked on a level surface.

Maintenance

Replacing the rollers (16)/(17) (Fig. H)

Important!

Pay attention to the chapter on “Technical data”.
Rollers that have a different diameter, may
alter the riding properties and could possibly
endanger the user. Do not use rollers that cannot
be installed properly. Never use rollers that are
larger than the original rollers on the item.
Rollers wear out. This wear depends on many
factors, such as, for example, the terrain, the size
and weight of the user, the weather conditions,
the material of the rollers and their hardness, etc.
It is necessary to replace them now and then.
